**HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT** National Sports and Celebrity Card company RAZOR Collectibles contracts Celebrity Sports Artist Kevin-John to illustrate a special series of “sketch card” inserts for their new Pop Century Card line. This series will premiere at the National Sports Collectors Convention in Indianapolis, August 4-8, 2010.
KJ comments; “This really takes my work in an entirely new direction. Kevin-John will create a portrait LIVE of hosts Steve Covino and Rich Davis during the national on-air broadcast. June 12 & 13, 2010 – Tampa, Florida @ Westchase Golf Course – Kevin-John will be featured at the Will Allen, Michael Jenkins & Friends Celebrity Golf Tournament. KJ will be on location creating LIVE action portraits of NFL All-Stars in attendance including Will Allen, Michael Jenkins, Chris Redman, Jason Snellling, Matt Bryant, Matt Ryan, Cato June, Adam Hayward, Barrett Ruud, Clifton Smith, Niko Koutovides, Sabby Piscitelli, Shelton Quarles, Ryan Nece, and Warrick Dunn.
June 8, 2010 – Erie, Pennsylvania @ Jerry Uht Park – The Detroit Tigers AA affiliate Erie Seawolves will feature an autograph signing with Celebrity Sports Artist Kevin-John as the first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a complimentary Kevin-John lithograph of pitcher, Thad Weber. This marks the 9th consecutive year that the ‘Wolves have featured Kevin-John lithographs at the ballpark. KJ will be on hand to autograph the prints for fans beginning at 5:30pm for the 7pm game.
For the sixth consecutive year, NFL Pro Bowl Wide Receiver and Super Bowl MVP Hines Ward and company will welcome Kevin-John to the Ward, Hoge, Starks Celebrity Golf Classic in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. KJ will put his pencil and brushes to work on a portrait of Hines LIVE as the players hit the links for charity. During the event’s evening banquet, KJ’s original art will be completed and auctioned to the highest bidder. Over $35,000 has been raised in years past with Kevin-John’s art for the effort; Highmark’s Caring Foundation.
March 2010 – Fans of the NBA D-League on the VERSUS Network were treated to a little extra during a nationally televised game as Kevin-John was featured courtside developing a portrait LIVE as the game action took place.
February 2010 – Kevin-John creates a portrait of Super Bowl Champion Reggie Bush LIVE during ESPN “the Weekend” at Walt Disney World in Orlando.
November 2009 – Kevin-John unveiled his original portrait of Pittsburgh Pirates outstanding player, Willie Stargell, at the MLB Chuck Tanner Baseball Manager of the Year Award Event in Pittsburgh, PA. The committee commissioned the art which was reproduced as premium lithographs for the attendees of the event.
September 2009 – The Pittsburgh Pirates welcomed Kevin-John as he created a portrait of Andrew McCutchen LIVE during the game.
